Introducing thisiznails blog!

Welcome to my new nail art blog! 

I'm Isabelle (aka thisiznails). I'll be posting about nail swatches, nail art, nail tips, and everything else nails! 💅🏻 

 Here are a few fun facts to get to know me: 

• My nickname is Iz (hence the account name thisiznails) ;)
• I have an adorable dog named Chino 🐶
  
• My day job is in marketing
• I live in Canada (yes, it's freezing outside right now) 
• I can play piano, guitar and ukulele (although not so much now that my nails are long)

To kick off this blog, here are five of my favourite nail designs that I've done so far 💖

Lavender Haze nails 

These fun purple nails were inspired by Taylor Swift's Lavender Haze music video 💜

Mirrorball nails 

Simplynailogical is 100% responsible for my love of anything holo, and these nails were definitely very holo! I got these sequins on Etsy, and placed them on top of a reflective gel polish. I couldn't stop staring at these nails the whole time I wore them 👀

Flower garden nails 

These nails were a bit more intricate to do and the result was so worth it! I also recreated them on my sister's short nails and they turned out just as nice 💐🌼

Heart nails 

I loved the colour combo I went with for these. They  took a while to do but were so fun! 💗💗💗

Shimmery raindrops 

Matte/glossy combo nails are one of my absolute favourite design styles to do. I used one of the Holo Taco shimmer toppers to create the raindrops with only the polish brush.
