I Scream Nails: Lost in Paradise Collection - Summer 2024

Summer isn't quite over yet - there's still time for some bright and fun neon nails! The I Scream Nails Lost in Paradise collection consists of 6 gorgeous neon crème polishes. Each shade is so fun I was constantly staring at my nails. Also, how cute are these ice cream cone nail polish bottles?! Keep scrolling for swatches of each shade.

About the collection

About the brand: I Scream Nails is an indie nail polish brand based in Australia with worldwide shipping. Their polishes are plant-based, 10-free, cruelty-free, vegan and breathable.

Note: I Scream Nails sent me these polishes with no obligation to post. All opinions are my own.

Tips for neon nails

Top coat: It's always best to use a top coat, but especially with neon polish. Neons usually dry a bit matte, so using a top coat will add a nice shine and help your manicure to last longer.

White base: You can start with a white base to make your neons pop in fewer coats. (Note that I didn't use a white base for any of these swatches.)

Try French tips: If full neon nails aren't your thing, neons make amazing french tips for a less intense pop of colour!

Shine on

This fluorescent yellow is so bright and vibrant, it's like staring at the sun! ☀️ It was fully opaque in two coats for me, but it might take 3 coats if your nails are longer than mine.

Daydream

I Scream Nails describes this polish as a "neon pink-red fusion." In the first coat I thought this would end up looking more pink, but at full opacity I would say it leans more red. The application of this one was very smooth, but I ended up doing 3 coats of this polish to reach full opacity.

Oasis

Oasis is a super fun fluorescent lime green polish. This one also took 3 coats for me to get to even opacity. It's definitely one of the brightest, most neon polishes in this collection, and I'm obsessed with the colour!

Sun Drenched

This bright, fluro orange polish is so stunning! I'm not normally a big fan of oranges, but this ended up being one of my favourites in this collection. It leans a bit more yellow than a safety orange, especially in direct sunlight, and it was fully opaque in 2 coats.

Slice of Heaven

Slice of Heaven is a bright blue polish. It applied very evenly and was fully opaque in two coats. I would say this one is a bit less neon than the other polishes in the collection, but still very vibrant, especially in direct sunlight.

Utopia

I'm always excited for a purple polish in any collection and this one did not disappoint! 💜 This rich purple applied smoothly and was opaque in two coats.
